When I made my last post, I was so excited to be back and looking forward to painting and sharing my new designs. My first project was a Terrye French design that I have been waiting to paint for "Painting with Friends" since before the knee injury. But, things can change so unexpectedly...here is my latest Facebook post:
Good news-the knee that I injured is doing good and heading back to the painting room was in my very near future."was" being the key word...Bad news-this past Saturday I tripped over a curb. Tomorrow I am scheduled for surgery to put my right wrist and lower part of my arm back together. To say that I am frustrated is a major understatement! Prayers and good thoughts are appreciated.
I will be back as soon and as often as I can. Thanks for listening.

So sorry about your fall. It's so discouraging to have setbacks with health, especially just when you think it's safe. Sure hope this doesn't affect your crafting. Are you right-handed? I so missed it so much when I first had to give it up, then I felt so bad I didn't care, now I've got that itch back, though the energy isn't always there. Just do what I can, when I can. So, I'll be praying for your mental outlook as well as your healing. Thanks for the welcome back. I'll be waiting with a big hug for your return.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm right with you on the graceful part! My mom used to say things would fall and break just because I walked in the room!
